To qualify, a candidate must have a minimum of a BS degree in Computer Science or a related field, commercial development experience using Microsoft Visual C++ or C# and 8+ years experience as a software engineer in a commercial software development environment. This individual will participate in the implementation of medical imaging software running on the Windows platform. The software allows medical staff to review and report on cardiology imaging exams. This position is in Cleveland at the Cleveland Clinic.

Participates in reviews of customer standards, specifications, and other documentation to determine software product requirements. Produces architecture and design documents to support the product requirements. Develops plans and estimates for own work. Develops software test requirements and plans. Implements the software quality process through the execution of module, subsystem and system test procedures.

The candidate will work in the development team located at the Cleveland Clinic to plan, design, develop and test customer specific features and enhancements. Design and implementation decisions will be coordinated with the development team located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Team work, oral and written communications, critical thinking, and customer interaction are required skill sets.

The candidate will work with intra-organizational contacts both on-site and in Ann Arbor. A close working relationship with medical personnel at the customer site will also be required.
